Rest and Be Thankful 1962

Alan Ensoll burns rubber as he leaves the hairpin with a little too much enthusiasm ..........before hitting the bank and almost rolling the Jaguar.

This was one of the first lightweight aluminium bodied XK 120 cars. Dick Protheroe bought and raced the car whilst serving in Egypt in 1952 before bringing it back to England where he competed in it for several years. The car was christened the "Ancient Egyptian" and is still in existance today.
